Training Frequency: 3 fun-filled Packs a week.
Cardio Frequency: If I’m training for a race, I run 4 times a week. Otherwise 2-3 times a week. I love walking, too, and try to get out during the workday for a walk a couple of times a week.
Nutrition: Monday – Friday I eat healthy meals every 3 hours. But Saturday and Sunday I like to eat, drink and be merry. That’s why I run and do Packs!
Results: A couple of years ago, I was looking for a new challenge. Brian suggested that I try running. I laughed. But after some months of training, I did my first 5k with Fitness Together Belmont at the 2012 “Brendan’s Home Run 5k” and I was hooked. Last month, I completed my 3rd half-marathon and plan to run another in February. Thank you, Fitness Together Belmont, for always challenging and supporting me!
How Fitness Together has helped: Fitness Together Belmont and its personal trainers have helped me to reframe how I see myself and my abilities. I didn’t play organized sports as a kid so I always saw myself as non-athletic. How surprising to learn as an adult that I am athletic!
