Marinated Skewers with Favorite Protein

Marinated Skewers

With Summer around the corner and Weather getting just warmer, we want to share some easy skewers ideas for you and your family.

You can grill it or just use the oven to get delicious fresh vegetables mixed with your favorite Protein. A perfect complete meal that can be made in less than 30 minutes.


  • 2 pounds top sirloin beef(chicken, tofu, Portobello mushroom,shrimp), cut into 1 inch cube

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 3 tbsp extra virgin oil

  • 1 bell pepper(zucchini, onions)chopped into large pieces

  • Lemon pepper for seasoning

  • 1 cup cherub tomatoes(optional)

  • Salt, pepper

  • 2 tbsp of Apple cider vinegar(optional)



Instructions:

In a large bowl mix everything and use a Ziploc to let marinate for a couple hours

Heat grill to 450 degrees or oven to 400 degrees

Using Skewers, alternate between protein and vegetables

Cook for 8 minutes and then flip them over and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes


There is something about hot food coming off the grill on a warm , sunny day that gives you joy.
