Even when you don't have time... you do!

Apr 4, 2018

Short workouts can add up. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, adults should try to get at least a half hour's exercise, for at least five days a week.

However, study results published recently in the Journal of the American Heart Association, suggest that those 30 minutes don't have to come in one chunk of time. Even three ten-minute bouts of exercise every day can provide measurable benefits.

And it doesn't have to be a typical workout routine. You can get your exercise by several bouts of walking up and down the stairs at work (rather than taking the elevator), or getting a few short walk/runs in with your dog. Your dog will love it, too.
