I had terrible eating habits. I exercised sporadically and improperly. Yet I was smart enough to know exercise needs to be a part of my life - as it does for everyone in the world. I failed again and again to be my own driving force, so I thought, I'll "outsource" my health and exercise needs, and that's how I look at it. I've been going to Fitness Together a little under a year now - which means Nate and his team have kept me healthy and ensured I get my dose of regular weekly exercise when I have failed to do so on my own in the past. I recommend Nate to anyone in Boston who needs that exercise piece in order to live a healthy life, especially when their gym membership isn't cutting it. My experience at Fitness Together Back Bay was more than I could have ever expected. Nathan and his staff are everything you want from a personal training experience. From their friendly greeting, their unparalleled professionalism and the true care that they put towards their personal training, it's an experience like no other. One thing that struck me the most was how much attention to detail Nathan put into my exercise regiment. The attention to detail was tremendous. He pin pointed my weak spots and touched upon my strong areas. He asked what my goals were and made sure I obtained them. His one on one training regiment was exactly what I needed. He addressed my improper form and positively reinforced my proper form. He made sure I reached my repetitions with positive motivation and paid extreme care if something was bothering me. In my case, I had a preexisting left shoulder injury and he made sure to take great care in not aggravating it.

Fitness Together was my first experience with personal training. I
would definitely recommend it to someone, like myself, who wants to
get into working out and weight training but is not quite sure how to
start. Nathan helped me on my diet and form. The trainers also
pushed me so that I far exceeded my expectations of myself. I did the
small group training so I was able to also meet people and we helped
to motivate one another. It was a great environment and the trainers were very patient and welcoming. I walked out with a few more
friends, some more muscle, and also picked up some routines,
techniques, and ways to prevent injury.*

The most amazing result(s) I have achieved while coming to Fitness
Together is my abs. I always new I had abs, as we all do, but mine were
hiding under my mini beer belly. I can’t believe the lines I see in my stomach

Ever since I started working out at FT, my life has changed for the better. I
get more compliments, I see great changes in my body, and most
importantly, I feel better about myself inside and out. It is a feeling that I wish

is perfect and there is nothing wrong some curves, but we should care for our
curves. Besides the insane workouts, my trainers are
entertaining with their bad dance moves and jokes that make this

As we get older, we let things slip; in particular, physical exercise becomes boring and no longer results in that beautiful body we once enjoyed. We experience an overwhelming desire to "decline gradually and gracefully". Problem is, the decline is neither graceful nor gradual: the result is a body that carries more fat and less muscle; depleting our energy and that feeling of well-being.

To fight this we need discipline, encouragement and knowledge. Some may have the discipline and a source of encouragement, but are unlikely to have sufficient knowledge about those many muscle groups that need to be exercised and developed together.

Fitness Together has the necessary machinery; and Nate Partridge at their Newbury Street studio gives clients lots of encouragement. He also has the know-how to exercise sets of muscles that you didn't even know you had. As for the discipline, Nate, like all good trainers, is capable of guiding your progress with humor and determination ensuring that you will feel better and be more productive.*
