• 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half

• 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

• 3 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced

• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
