Ashley Vitale

I joined the Fitness Together team in June 2012 after graduating from  Endicott College in 2011 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Athletic Training as acertified Athletic Trainer. Throughout college, I worked semester long clinical rotations with various collegiate sports teams preventing, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating injuries. I also worked as a group training instructor for sessions held at Endicott. After graduation, I began working in a physical therapy clinic as a part time aide as well as one on one training for many populations ranging from elite athletes, pre and post operative patients, special needs, and elderly. 

I have always had a passion for sports and fitness. As a college basketball player, my passion for fitness grew as I began to study the science behind it all. I enjoy designing programs for specialized individuals and guiding them to achieve their goals every step of the way. I not only instill the values of health and wellness to my clients, but to my family as well. Having an active, healthy lifestyle with my friends and family is an important part of making life fun! :)

I'm a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and a certified club coach by the USAW. He graduated in 2005 from Bridgewater State College with a bachelor’s degree in physical education with a concentration in exercise science. Previously I was the program director for the Parisi Speed School at the Cedardale Health Club for 4 years and helped many local athletes achieve their goals through speed of movement and strength of character.

I grew up in Roxbury, MA and attended Boston Latin School. While there I excelled on the football team becoming the defensive MVP and was named to the Dual County All-Star Team.

I enrolled at Bridgewater State College and played defensive back for the Bridgewater State Bears and was part of the 2005 ECAC Championship Team, the first in school history.

Sean comes from a strong athletic background starting varsity in both football and baseball.  After high school he competed in bodybuilding contests and learned a great deal about diet and exercise.  He has since been certified through International Sports and Science Association (I.S.S.A) and also has CPR/AED certification through the Red Cross.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Umass Boston in Exercise and Health Science in May of 2011. Sean has made a serious commitment to exercise and health and loves to help his clients to stay motivated!

Being a "larger" kid growing up I became interested in health and wellness in High School as I dropped 50+ pounds from my freshman into sophomore year. In doing so I developed an affinity for exercise and fitness, so I chose to continue my curiosity and knowledge in the field as I went on to college. I attended Bridgewater State College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in physical education with a concentration in exercise science.  I worked a lot with the strength and conditioning professors, even dabbled in Olympic weightlifting for some time. As I graduated from college I sought out a career with Fitness Together. Here my goal as a fitness professional is to motivate clients - to make exercise a fun part of their lives. Whether its being able to sit and stand-up without joint pain, increase their strength or help someone get ready to run their first 5k; I just simply want to increase your overall health. I’ve been with the company since 2010 and I truly enjoy helping people reach their goals, as it’s a personal goal I can relate to. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals!

I have always had a passion for sports and so it was a natural progression for me to then pursue coaching as a profession so as to share that passion in a positive way with others. I received my Bachelor’s from Merrimack College in Sports Medicine (2011) and then went on to Bridgewater State University for my Masters in Physical Education with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning (2014). I was the Graduate Assistant for the Strength and Conditioning Program while at Bridgewater State and designed the Strength and Conditioning programs for the Women’s Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams. As part of my Master’s I applied for and was selected for a prestigious internship at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO, where I was an intern Strength and Conditioning coach and was honored to be able to coach some of the country’s finest athletes. In my coaching I try to be a positive and knowledgeable role model because I believe that sport and working out shouldn’t just make us physically better, but should improve the entire person. In my spare time enjoy training for and competing in Olympic Weightlifting, I am currently one of the top ranked women in the country and hope to pursue weightlifting to the highest levels I am capable of.

I started my journey in the movement arts in first grade when I joined gymnastics.  I stuck with the sport till I graduated From Springfield college in May of 2013. I accomplished a lot with my gymnastics career. My biggest team accomplishment was when the Springfield Gymnastics team came in third div 2 nationals. My best individual accomplishment came in 2013 when I came in 2nd in New England on pommel horse. After I graduated from Springfield I wanted to continue my journey in movement so the choice was obvious. I wanted to become a personal trainer and help people better their lives.  So far being a personal trainer has been a blast and I have had a lot of fun meeting new people and yelling at them because their feet aren’t straight (hahaha). What is next nobody knows but one thing is for sure, I will continue my journey with movement and always have fun doing it.

After graduating Saint Joseph's College of Maine in 2007 with a degree in Psychology and Exercise Science I knew I wanted to work with people and help them get healthy. My goal as a fitness professional is to motivate my clients and make exercise a fun part of their lives.
