Growing up playing sports, exercise was always been a huge part of my life! Exercise is MY time, MY stress relief and well my passion! I really found my love for fitness 10 years ago the second I walked into a Cardio Kickboxing class. I felt the amazing effects of this high intensity cardio class and swore I would never stop, and well I never did! After attending group fitness classes for more than 10 years, I decided to turn this love for fitness into my career and never looked back. I have been teaching group fitness and training client 1:2:1 for 3 years and can honestly say I love my job! Each day is a new day, each client is a new journey and I can't get enough. Every day I smile knowing that I am playing a role in changing the lives of those around me. I graduated from Plymouth State University with a BS in Psychology and knew my goal in life was to help those around me. I look forward to working with you and helping YOU achieve all your fitness goals!
I joined the Fitness Together team in June 2012 after graduating from Endicott College in 2011 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Athletic Training as acertified Athletic Trainer. Throughout college, I worked semester long clinical rotations with various collegiate sports teams preventing, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating injuries. I also worked as a group training instructor for sessions held at Endicott. After graduation, I began working in a physical therapy clinic as a part time aide as well as one on one training for many populations ranging from elite athletes, pre and post operative patients, special needs, and elderly.
I have always had a passion for sports and fitness. As a college basketball player, my passion for fitness grew as I began to study the science behind it all. I enjoy designing programs for specialized individuals and guiding them to achieve their goals every step of the way. I not only instill the values of health and wellness to my clients, but to my family as well. Having an active, healthy lifestyle with my friends and family is an important part of making life fun! :)
Sean comes from a strong athletic background starting varsity in both football and baseball. After high school he competed in bodybuilding contests and learned a great deal about diet and exercise. He has since been certified through International Sports and Science Association (I.S.S.A) and also has CPR/AED certification through the Red Cross. He received his bachelor’s degree from Umass Boston in Exercise and Health Science in May of 2011. Sean has made a serious commitment to exercise and health and loves to help his clients to stay motivated!
I started my journey in the movement arts in first grade when I joined gymnastics. I stuck with the sport till I graduated From Springfield college in May of 2013. I accomplished a lot with my gymnastics career. My biggest team accomplishment was when the Springfield Gymnastics team came in third div 2 nationals. My best individual accomplishment came in 2013 when I came in 2nd in New England on pommel horse. After I graduated from Springfield I wanted to continue my journey in movement so the choice was obvious. I wanted to become a personal trainer and help people better their lives. So far being a personal trainer has been a blast and I have had a lot of fun meeting new people and yelling at them because their feet aren’t straight (hahaha). What is next nobody knows but one thing is for sure, I will continue my journey with movement and always have fun doing it.
After being with Fitness Together for over 7 years all I can say is I love my job! There is nothing better than seeing a client reach their goals and become who they have always wanted to be! After graduating Saint Joseph's College of Maine in 2007 with a degree in Psychology and Exercise Science I knew I wanted to work with people and help them get healthy. My goal as a fitness professional is to motivate my clients and make exercise a fun part of their lives. Whether its being able to get out of bed without pain, run faster, jump higher, or just simply increase your overall health, I want you to feel comfortable with us and our facility's intimate design.
