Rich & Shelly Duncan
Owners
Rich and Shelly have been fitness enthusiasts for the past 10 years. Rich Duncan is the founder and owner of Rich Duncan Construction, Inc. . He constructed two other Fitness Together locations in Oregon. This allowed Rich and Shelly to see and experience the awesome and unique one on one private personal training environment, as well as the professional and supportive FT franchise Corporation. This inspired them to open the first location in Salem. Having a successful business encouraged them to want to create another successful business, one in which they can help and give back to the community in a very individual and personal way. Fitness Together allows Rich and Shelly the opportunity to help others reach their goals and make positive changes in their lives.

Julie Tye
Manager
Julie Tye has been involved in the Health and Fitness industry for over 25 years and still loves it!!!
She is an ACE certified Personal Trainer and brings many years of experience to her personal training skills. Julie's work experience has included but is not limited to teaching a variety of fitness classes, instructor trainer, Fitness Coach, Personal Trainer, and Manager. She was an assistant fitness director/instructor trainer at Mid Valley Athletic club in LA. She also attended training sessions with Ed Oster and the Voight Center with focus on learning proper technique and form.
She worked for a local fitness club for many years teaching most all exercise formats and Fitness Coaching. She worked as an Operations specialist and Personal Trainer for 3 ½ years at Salem Hospital Fitness Center for hospital employees. She has also been involved in team teaching a Children's weight management program, get on the ball classes, Mat Pilates, Core Strength, and one on one training with clients. Senior Health and Fitness Director and Aquatics Director at the Metro Family YMCA in Portland have been her last venture and now she is happy to be back in Salem.
Julie is honored and excited to join the Fitness Together professional team.
She enjoys working with people, helping clients set and achieve their health and fitness goals. She especially enjoys teaching someone how to do something they have never done before and seeing improvement in how a person feels, as they become more physical fit. She has experience working with all fitness levels.
She believes reaching fitness goals is not just about how a person looks as they become more physically fit but also how a person feels inside and out. It is the whole person that benefits.

Dana Howe
Manager/Certified Personal Trainer
Motivation, strength, passion—these are the qualities that Dana brings to Fitness Together. Dana’s passion for fitness originated in her youth. As a young athlete, she was a member of the USTU (United States Tae Kwon Do Union) and competed in many events at the State and National levels, including qualifying for the Junior Olympics in 1995. In college she competed in volleyball, baseball and track. Over the years Dana has taught group fitness classes at several fitness centers in Eugene, and she is a nationally certified personal trainer through International Sports Science Association. Dana has a passion for helping others achieve fitness success and enjoys giving Fitness Together clients the one-on-one attention necessary to accomplish their goals.
Aaron Forbes

Certifications: A.C.E. Certified Personal trainer.
C.S.F.S. (Certified Spinal Fitness Specialist) level 10 of 10.
Athletic Sports History: All NWAC Conference Strong Safety.
C.W.U record holder: Most forced fumbles in a single season.
C.W.U. record holder: Power Clean lift, all defensive players (365 lbs.)
17 years experience as P.A. (physician’s assistant), R.T. (radiographic technician) physio-therapist, and strength coach.
Special interest work history: Education & implementation of specialized musculo-skeletal physics. This included treatment & training protocols for spinal rehabilitation & performance enhancement, with the following organizations:

Justin Peet

Justin’s passion for fitness began when I was a young athlete. During his high school career he played football and completed in track and field. He was an Allstate running back in Wisconsin and named player of the year by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel… He was a national qualifier in track and field in the 100 meters.
That passion continued during college where he completed in both track and football. He obtained his degree in Exercise Physiology and a Minor in coaching. He continued his passion for fitness, for 8 years he was a Personal Trainer at Kenosha Athletic Center in Kenosha, WI and a Sports Conditioning Coach for 4 years at Speed Zone in Kenosha, WI. He also coached high school football at St. Joe’s High School in Kenosha, WI. In the right state of mind and sound instruction in fitness and Nutrition from a fitness professional anyone’s goals can be achieved.
Michelle Greaney-Gorman
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Michelle is Personal Training certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine(NASM). Michelle enjoys helping others, in part, because of her own fitness journey: She has lost more than 60 pounds, increased her fitness level, and lives a healthier lifestyle, which has inspired her to help others to reach their fitness goals. She enjoys working one-on-one with clients to personalize her focus and implement lifestyle changes that people can permanently adhere to. When you work with Michelle, you will work as a team to reach your health and fitness goals. She is committed to providing you with the tools necessary to succeed. When not training, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, playing softball, camping, and enjoying the outdoors.
