We spend some of our free time together traveling to the Caribbean and scuba diving. (Not the dog). We also enjoy watching and participating in any sport and generally staying active. My trainers and I have a passion for fitness and helping people achieve their goals. We genuinely share their joy when they tell us we have helped them change their lives. Our mission is to help you change yours. I look forward to meeting you.

Peter West

Fitness Coach

Hi, my name is Peter West. I am a Personal Fitness Coach here at Fitness Together in Westford. I have been training clients on a one-on-one basis for over nine years. My certifications include the following: Certified Fitness Trainer-International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), Fitness Together Trainer Certification, Infant and Child CPR, and Adult CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.

The beginning of my love for fitness started the summer before my freshman year in high school, when I started to weight train in order to prepare for football. I went on to be a four year varsity starter in football, and I owe most of that success to my love for weight training. My passion for weight training is higher then ever, since I started to compete in the sport of power lifting at the age of 20. To this point in my power lifting career I have achieved two elite level total, with a 804 pound squat, 574 pound bench press, and a 675 pound deadlift being my best. I’ll also be competing in my first triathlon in August.

With over nine years of experience in the personal training profession, I feel that I can help any client achieve their goals. I look at each client as a personal challenge to help them reach their goals. I am very excited to be training clients at Fitness Together in Westford

Kati Salowsky

Fitness Coach

Hello,

My name is Kati Salowsky and I am a certified Personal Trainer here in Westford at Fitness Together. I graduated from Merrimack College with a B.S. in Sports Medicine where I specialized in injury treatment and prevention as well as strength and conditioning. I am certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) for Personal Training and Group Fitness, the American Heart Association for CPR/AED, and am actively pursuing my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

While in school, I interned at Harvard University’s Strength and Conditioning facility coaching 41 varsity athletic teams and also worked at Merrimack College’s campus fitness center training students and faculty.  After college, I worked for Fitcorp as a Personal Trainer in Boston’s prudential center and Waltham centers for a year and a half. While at Fitcorp I trained many age groups varying from college students to 85 year old clients with a wide range of fitness levels.

I grew up a competitive figure skater for 12 years competing in both national and world competitions. In high school I decided to play girls ice hockey for Chelmsford High School’s varsity team. Now, I am an assistant coach to Chelmsford High’s junior varsity girl’s ice hockey team working on team strength and conditioning. I have also recently taken up fitness competitions and competed in the 2009 & 2010 Fitness Atlantic and the 2009 Jay Cutler Classic. I am looking forward to the next show!

Exercise is the best medicine for both mental and physical wellbeing. I strongly emphasize practicing good nutrition because exercise and nutrition are a packaged deal. You need to make time for both. As your trainer, I will help you to develop your own personalized program pertaining to your needs and goals. Together, we will get you where you want to be.

Greg Hein

Fitness Coach

Hey there, my name is Greg Hein and I am a Personal Trainer at Fitness Together in Westford. I graduated from Keene State College with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and have my certification in CPR and AED from the American Red Cross. I was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Football Coach at Keene High School and also a Strength Coach at Keene State gaining a higher level of experience by working with both high school and college athletes. My coaching skills brought them through different weight training exercises and specific conditioning drills. I also worked in the campus gymnasium as a personal trainer; assisting the KSC students, staff and faculty members, as well as members of the community.  As a result of my coaching style, members achieved their personal health and fitness goals.

Growing up in Nashua New Hampshire, I had a passion for sports, especially baseball. Passion for the game allowed me to play throughout my school years. I strongly believe that it was my love for sports that led me to live a healthy lifestyle. I strive to help those who want to make this commitment.  My commitment to exercise and weight lifting began while I was in high school, but as I became more informed about fitness in college, power lifting intrigued me. I am hoping to get a few more years of training under my belt before I proceed to entering a competition.

Outside of the fitness world I enjoy spending time with my family, going for runs around town and playing softball.

As your fitness professional I have the will and desire to reach your dreams, whether it will be working on simply maintaining your health, improving your fitness level, or even preventing injuries. I am excited and look forward to meeting you.
