Sarah Mele
Personal Trainer
Sarah has been accredited as a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) since 2007 and in 2011 became certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist by the NASM. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Framingham State University which included course work in health and nutrition that has provided her with a broad base of education and experience in the area of personal health management. Sarah’s love and passion for training are self-evident in her attentiveness to her client’s specific needs and her ability to identify and design detailed training programs to meet those needs. Based on individual client’s specific requirements, she develops and implements goals and the metrics to assess progress towards those goals for each client; perhaps the cornerstone of her success. Sarah has enjoyed the experience of working with a diverse clientele, from accomplished athletes to less conditioned individuals to those recuperating from an injury or illness.
Sarah leads an active lifestyle including running, lifting, boxing and keeping herself fit. She knows the importance of being healthy in mind and body and wants the same for her clients. Sarah believes that health goals are attainable but cannot be met by dealing with only one piece of the puzzle. Personal habits, hereditary health and present health conditions must be considered holistically in developing the correct training program.
Sarah has successfully helped many clients through injury rehabilitation and other clients with chronic physical impairments attain improvement and growth. In support of this specialty she was accredited in 2011 by the NASM as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, with an expertise in injury prevention and recovery techniques. This specialization includes movement assessments, inhibitory techniques, muscle activation techniques and techniques designed for common musculoskeletal impairments. Every step of the way, Sarah is dedicated to helping her clients attain physical goals, recover from injuries and develop stronger personal confidence aimed at improving their lives. “I know firsthand the feeling of success, the confidence it brings and the happiness everyone can enjoy through a healthy lifestyle in mind and body.”
