After just one year, she took over the women’s high school program as head coach and after two years, led her junior varsity team to become Texas State Champions. She has always been very focused on health and fitness and earned her Bachelor’s in Nutrition at The University of Texas. At UT, she became an intern for the University Dietitian as a Nutritional Peer Educator. She taught classes to groups of students about healthy eating and designed other programs to reach out to students and community.
