Do you offer training other than one-on-one?

Yes, we offer the “Buddy System”!  It is when two clients train with one fitness coach, each client trains at the level and goals that are set for them by their fitness coach.

 

 

Does Fitness Together – Severna Park put people together for the “Buddy System” training?

We try to put people together who want to train this way, if they inquire about it and have recently be administered a fitness assessment.  We strongly encourage those who are interested to find a fitness buddy they want to train with!

 

How does the Buddy System cost differ versus the standard “one-on-one” training?

We offer two training packages (24 and 36 sessions) for the ”Buddy System”.  The cost for the 24 session package is $2,016.00 and the cost for the 36 session package is $2,664.00.  So, each buddy would pay $ 1,008.00 (lump sum) for the 24 session package or $ 1,332.00 (lump sum) for the 36 session package.

 

Q: How long are your personal training sessions?

A: Each session is 45 minutes but we encourage our personal training clients to come in a few minutes before their session to warm up on our cardio equipment. After your session we suggest cooling down a minimum of 5 minutes or for maximum fat burning you can add in 15-20 min of cardio after your session. So, plan on spending anywhere 45-80 minutes at each personal training session.

Q: How long until I see results?

A: We assess our clients every 6-8 weeks. This is enough time to show statistically significant results for most people. Our clients who have followed our complete weekly plan and journaled their healthy nutrition plans have consistently seen results, including remarkable improvements in strength and endurance during this period. Like most things in life, the more YOU put into it, the more YOU will get out of it.

Q: How many times a week does the typical client work out?

A: This depends primarily on your fitness goals. Typically our personal training clients prefer to come in 3 days a week for better results. Training less often tends to slow down progress. Of course, clients that wish to achieve rapid results can come in more often to really accelerate their fat loss and/or muscle growth.

What else is included with the Buddy System type of training?

Each client with be given a Cardio Together prescription (created by the fitness coach assigned to them), and Nutrition Together will be administered (if the client wants to participate).
