Tony Magden
Owner, Certified Personal Trainer
Tony has been involved in athletics and fitness for the majority of his life. He grew up competing in a variety of sports and was an NAIA All American Swimmer during his four years at Linfield College where he earned a degree in Business and Physical Education. With over 15 years of experience in athletic training he has worked with a wide range of individuals with varying fitness abilities. Tony’s background includes providing one-on-one personal training and teaching group classes, training and developing swimmers at all levels as the head coach of Hillsboro Heat Swim Team and the Weight Room/Aquatics Manager of the NIKE World Campus fitness facilities. Whether coaching an Olympic swimming hopeful or designing a program for elder adults, Tony has an abundance of energy and passion to assist in helping an individual achieve their goals. Tony understands the value and importance of physical fitness to improve one’s overall quality of life. One of Tony’s greatest rewards in his career is staying in contact with past clients and athletes and knowing he has had a small impact in their life. Fitness Together has given him the chance to operate a studio that will help change his clients lives for the better.

Ashley Severns
Certified Personal Trainer
Ashley has always been passionate about fitness, wellness, and helping others achieve more healthy lives. She learned quickly that her first career choice in the field of Dental Medicine was not a complete fit for her, so while working as a dental assistant, she earned a BS in Exercise Sports Science from Oregon State University. Ashley loves long interval cardio workouts, utilizing an elliptical or treadmill, circuit training, spinning and plyometrics. She believes working out is a "healthy habit" that should be integrated into one's lifestyle. She encourages her clients to do workouts they enjoy. Ashley believes working out should be fun, she also understands that it should not always be easy: "Don't be afraid to challenge yourself.

Chris Dupont
Certified Personal Trainer
Chris graduated from Western Oregon University in 2006 earning his degree in Physical Education and Health. While at WOU he walked-on and played 2 years of football, while also competing in Semi-Pro football from 2002 to the present. He has been providing personal training since 2006 and has trained a wide variety of clients with a wide variety of goals. He has worked with athletes who wanted to increase their sport performance to the elderly who don't want to rely on others helping them with daily activities. He has trained clients in one on one settings as well as boot-camp classes. Having trained in different settings and with different types of people, Chris loves all kinds of exercises and workouts and loves helping clients reach their goals... whatever they might be.

Karen Robnett
Certified Personal Trainer
Karen graduated from Whitworth University with a BA in Elementary Education. In addition to this degree, she also earned a Diploma of Completion from the Nation Personal Training Institute in Portland, Oregon. Karen loves to work with people and is a substitute teacher as well as a coach in the Beaverton school district. When Karen is not training or teaching, she loves to travel. She has visited Uganda, Kenya, Spain, England, and Switzerland. Karen enjoys the challenge of crossfit workouts, which focuses on encompassing the elements of strength, power and endurance. Her philosophy on personal training and working out is “Commit to be fit.” She believes that a healthy life style isn't just working out, working out is part of it, but there are many pieces to the puzzle of healthy living. A commitment to fitness from eating right to stress management and plenty of exercise will ultimately lead to a healthy life.
Kathy Betts
Personal Trainer
Kathy graduated with a degree in Exercise Science from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She grew up playing a variety of sports (soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, golf, cross country) and went on to play NAIA Division II soccer and softball at the collegiate level. Kathy enjoys staying active by biking, hiking, kayaking, playing tennis and soccer. “You have to pursue a healthy lifestyle!” She believes in keeping yourself healthy both physically and mentally. “One of our greatest blessings is our health and we need to treat our bodies with respect.” She is certified through ACE and her favorite part of her job is helping clients reach their fitness goals.
