Sean Stellmach

Owner/Manager/Personal Trainer

As a lifelong resident of northern New England, I am thrilled to be a valuable part of Portsmouth’s vibrant community.

My passion for fitness began with participating in a variety of sports at an early age. These included soccer, ice hockey, football, baseball and track. Through my 4 years at Amesbury High School I continued to compete in varsity soccer, ice hockey and track and acted as captain in all 3 sports.

My college experience began at University of Maine, Farmington. I later transferred to and graduated from UMass Lowell with a BS in Community Health Education and continued in pursuit of a Master’s of Science in Epidemiology. Additionally, I earned a Performance Enhancement Specialist Certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

My career as a health and wellness expert began with my experience as a personal trainer at Fitness Together. I quickly earned the respect of our clients and my fellow trainers, and decided to take on a leadership role.  I became the owner of FT Portsmouth in 2011 and have owned the nearby Newburyport location since 2010.

I am a driven individual who truly enjoys leading, teaching and motivating our clients to reach their fitness goals.
