Kirby Anderson
ACE CPT
Hi! My name is Kirby Anderson and an individual who had to face the challenges of being overweight as an adolescent I have a very personal understanding of the hard work, dedication, disappointment, and excitement that is all experienced on the road to living and attaining a healthier and happier lifestyle. I began my quest to better my health at age 14. I’ am currently a certified kickboxing and step aerobics instructor through Body Training Systems (BTS) and I’ am certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). At 15 years old I took up the sport of trapshooting where I have set and broken many records nationwide. Since the start of my trapshooting career I have earned a spot on the All-American Trapshooting Team two years in a row. At age 18 I achieved my long term goal of becoming a member of the United States Olympic Shooting Team where I spent 4 years traveling and competing in countries such as Egypt, Finland, Greece, and Australia. I won a bronze medal at the World Championships held in Haiti, Finland. Also, I won a gold medal at the Championship of the Americas (CAT) Games. I tried out for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games held in Athens, Greece where I placed 4th in the tryouts. My shooting career is on hold temporarily while I focus on my life long goals.
Ryan Duguay
MS, ACE CPT
Hello, my name is Ryan Duguay. I recently graduated from the University of Rhode Island with my Master’s degree in Exercise Science. I am also a certified personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and certified in CPR/AED by the American Heart Association. My interest in exercise and fitness stems from a background in sports, particularly baseball and track and field. I was involved in both sports at Cumberland High School in Cumberland, RI. Once I started college I needed something to fill the gap so I began to become interested in lifting and exercise. Once I started seeing results is when I really wanted to know what was going on in my body and tried to learn as much as I can about how the human body responds to exercise. Although my formal education may be over, I strive never to stop learning about what the human body is capable of and how to instruct people to become the best they can be. My clients have ranged from high school and collegiate athletes to senior citizens and all have had their own goals to attain. I feel that it is of the utmost importance to do as much as you can to stay active in order to live a happier, healthier lifestyle. The goal is to keep challenging yourself and to never be satisfied!

A love for fitness activities has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I believe all people can benefit from physical activity. I have taken this mindset into coordinating the Special Olympics programs for the town as well as assisting with the Hoops for Heart Program at the Middle School. All adults and children can benefit from the wonders of physical activity and taking care of themselves. It is my goal to bring my knowledge from school and my personal trainer certification with the National Association of Sports Medicine along with my passion for physical activity to make a positive change in the lives of people. My athletic interests include mountain and road biking, weight training, and martial arts. I look forward to taking all of these experiences to help others. I believe in the old saying that if you take care of your body your body will take care of you.
Sara Betts
ISSA CPT, AED/CPR
Hi my name is Sara Betts. I grew up and went to school in North Attleboro. I got into fitness after my first child was born in 2004. I started with exercise and the big change was getting rid of processed food. After my second child 2006 I got in the gym and kicked it up a couple of notches. I tried new ways to exercise and couldn't get enough of it. As I watched my whole body from head to toe transform I needed to educate myself even further to go to the next level. I am now certified with International Sports Science Association (ISSA) as a personal trainer as well as CPR/AED. Fitness has changed my life tremendously as well as my family's. It feels so great to have this knowledge and to be able to pass it along to others. It's so rewarding to watch someone I've helped transform their whole outlook on fitness and nutrition.
Devin Gray
Certified Personal Trainer NSCA-CSCS
Hello, my name is Devin Gray. I am a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where I graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Kinesiology. I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS). I am also a professional member of the NSCA and am CPR/AED & First Aid certified through the American Red Cross.
I have been very interested in strength, fitness, and martial arts since my childhood. My passion really took off as a wrestler at Tri-County RVTHS in Franklin, where I also competed in Track & Field. I began lifting weights when I was 17 and changed not just my appearance, but also my entire outlook on life. I became more confident and much happier as a direct result.
I was also a member of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. As a cadet, I led fitness sessions for as many as 52 cadets. My efforts helped many of them pass the U.S. Army Physical Fitness Test. The satisfaction I gained from developing cadets into leaders at Texas A&M gave me a passion for helping people reach their goals and change their lives.
I believe that the best way to help people is to educate them about fitness and what really works. My specialties are free weights, bodyweight exercises, core training, and strength & conditioning.
