Prior to joining FT, I worked out at a regular gym pretty frequently. Most days, I trained on the elliptical for a specific amount of time and usually burned the same amount of calories each time. I knew that I was only working a few major muscle groups, but I didn’t know how to create and effective training program. Naturally, doing the same thing every time I was in the gym became routine and totally boring. I finally woke up and realized that something had to change.
I chose Fitness Together to change not only the way I worked out, but also my lifestyle. I soon found that the one-on-one training experience is definitely worth the investment. I was taught many different exercises which I now apply to my own work outs. Ray, my trainer, showed me the importance of nutrition and that there are many aspects to leading a healthy life. Smart meal selection, exercise concentration (which muscles I am working), and little tips like adding mustard, instead of mayonnaise, to my tuna fish were some great things that Ray introduced.
I cannot stress enough, that I really loved the one-on-one training, I felt like a star! It made the workouts feel much more focused on my individual needs and the program was always geared towards my goals. Not only did I have fun training at Fitness Together, but I enjoyed the friendly, encouraging atmosphere.
