What’s your goal?
Today I hit a personal best of running 3.5 miles in 47 minutes. For me this was fantastic. I hit one of my little goals! Now I’m on to my next goal of 4 miles in under 50 minutes! Each time I hit one of my little goals I’m that much closer to my BIG goal! For running it’s to do a half marathon in September which is 13 miles.
The Scale is not my friend!

I never thought I’d be one of those people who would be saying “I love my trainers” and “working with a trainer really paid off” but here I am! Shouting as loud as I can how much I love these guys for helping me get to my goal!

Days like today I’m glad that I made the choice to work with a trainer because as I look in the mirror the results don’t lie and no matter how gloomy it is outside, I’m beaming sunshine on the inside!

Last week at my assessment I didn’t get the results I wanted but it was what I suspected. Instead of letting a gain defeat me I looked at it as an opportunity to get back on track and that is exactly what I did.

Don’t let an “up” bring you down!
One of the things I love about Fitness Together is the monthly assessments. I love seeing the inches shrinking, I love seeing the BMI heading down and I love the way I look. One of the things I hate about the monthly assessments is when the scale shows a gain and not a lost!

How do I stay on track and maintain the weight I’ve lost? I find that if I want to maintain, or loose that last 20 pounds I have to do these three things every day.
