Jenny May has over 20 years of research on diet and exercise with the purpose of gaining a deeper understanding in regard to how diet and exercise affects your hormone profile, performance and body fat levels. She is the author of Menopausal Fitness & You and has successfully coached hundreds of women around the Globe to reclaim their lives & their bodies during the menopausal years.
Fitness is not just a job for Jenny May, it is a passion; one that she lives and breathes every day. Her goal is to spread awareness and knowledge about how to live a healthy and active lifestyle to as many people possible.

As a two sport athlete all through high school, Rick was able to stay in great condition until he suffered a torn MCL in his right knee. During the 6-month recovery process, Rick had gained some weight and became very sedentary. Soon the time came that he felt that he had lost control of his health, which is when he decided to make a change and started exercising regularly. After some time, Rick fell in love with working out and the way that being healthy made him feel. This is when he decided that this passion was so strong that he wanted to dedicate his life to helping people through the same problems he faced. Over 3 years ago, after attending the University of Sports Medicine and becoming certified as a personal trainer, Rick began his journey at Fitness Together.

Bryan’s lifelong passion of sports and fitness led him to study several sectors of health and wellness. After gaining significant knowledge in human anatomy and physiology, nutrition, exercise programming/assessment, coaching, as well as principles in strength and conditioning, he decided that he wanted to share with others what he had acquired; positive, healthy lifestyle behaviors that can change lives.

Derek previously worked as a personal trainer at Equinox Fitness in Manhattan. His areas of expertise include strength and conditioning training. Gelato competes in the USA Power-lifting (USAPL Federation and won first place in of the USAPL; he also holds the New York State record for squat and dead-lift (in the 198lb weight class). Gelato is a graduate of the University at Albany with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Derek has always been passionate about maintaining a healthy body and mind. He strives to guide and assist people in their journey toward health and fitness, constantly going the extra mile to help them reach their goals. Whether it’s looking better, feeling better or moving better.

For Nick, being a personal trainer isn’t just about a job, it’s about helping people change their habits - not just in the gym but overall in life - by teaching clients to make the healthy choices that will lead to a better quality of life. He also believes that by being proactive, having a goal and having a clear vision of what you want makes it much easier to do the work.
Before working here, Nick mastered his stills working as a personal trainer/wellness coach at the East Greenbush YMCA and at Gymit, in Brookline MA.

Sonya is very passionate about personal training. She loves helping people to reach their goals, and to live healthier lives. She wants to share her experience and knowledge with everyone she works with and guide them along their own individual wellness journeys.
Prior to becoming a personal trainer, Sonya was a professional dancer. She taught all different styles of dance and performed with several different tap and ballet companies . In addition to dancing, she also taught Karate, Yoga and Zumba.
