PHOENIX Rehabilitation and Health Services is a certified, privately owned physical therapy and occupational therapy practice committed to providing the highest quality of care available today. Founded by David Watson, President and CEO, who partnered with four other physical therapists that all recognized a need for comprehensive rehabilitation and physical therapy services, our management and professional staff have a combination of over 120 years of experience in assuring quality services to those we serve.
Headquartered in Indiana, Pennsylvania, PHOENIX opened its first outpatient physical therapy office in 1997. Since that time, we have opened an additional 39 locations including our newest Montgomery County location conveniently sited at 1116 Horsham Road, Suite 3 in Horsham (in the Horsham Road Center).
A longtime member of the Horsham Township healthcare community, Scott Toale, PT, MPT, Cert. MDT is the facility director and lead physical therapist heading PHOENIX in Horsham. Together, PHOENIX and Scott offer the community an innovative treatment approach to physical therapy, combining MDT, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method®) concepts and traditional manual therapy techniques (hands-on) with the clinic’s state-of-the-art equipment and personalized one-on-one patient care. PHOENIX is proud to offer a new treatment option to patients called the Graston Technique®. This highly effective treatment option enhances hands-on care and has been clinically proven to achieve quicker and better outcomes in both acute and chronic conditions.
Our patients appreciate treatment with the same licensed physical therapist—every visit—throughout their entire recovery process. No shuffling of patients from one therapist to the next. In general, we offer convenient patient scheduling with 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. availability, Monday thru Friday, and new patients are always scheduled within 24 to 48 hours. We pride ourselves on making sure the needs of the patient are met first and foremost. Such practices are a cornerstone of PHOENIX care planning, as well as the processing of all insurance plans and convenient free parking.

The Animal Rescue Site provides simple, effective, feel-good ways to address an urgent, specific need: providing food and vital care for some of the eight million unwanted animals given to shelters every year in the U.S., as well as animals in desperate need around the world.
