Justin Tate

Owner, Fitness Together - Gunbarrel Pointe
ISSA & FFL - Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Coach
Business Management - University of Tennessee-Chattanooga

Justin Tate started his career as a trainer at Fitness Together on the North Shore in Downtown Chattanooga in 2006. He also trained at the Gunbarrel location in Chattanooga from May 2008 to May 2009 and has been with Fitness Together for almost four years as a personal trainer. In the past four years, Justin has grown as a Christian, Husband, Father, and as a Professional. After his son Hudson was born on Sept. 9th, 2008, he continued expanding his training ability when he started working at Baylor School (with Julian Kaufman, Fitness Together North Shore owner). He worked with high school students, teaching Wellness and Strength & Conditioning, and coaching Lacrosse (D-2 State Champions 2010). Using a background in Organizational Management and the skill as a collegiate athlete, his goal is to motivate and educate our active clients and future clients with his knowledge in Health & Fitness. Justin enjoys helping others improve and maintain Quality of Life through exercise and nutrition.

Justin takes a comprehensive approach to personal fitness and stresses the importance of nutrition, consistency, and motivation in addition to regular exercise. He feels that these three factors are the missing pieces of the puzzle that prevent most individuals from achieving their health and fitness goals.

There are no shortcuts to health and fitness. The key is to maintain a lifestyle that will allow you to have quality of life even into “the Golden years”. He believes strongly that this is achieved through good nutrition and a fitness program that focuses not only on strength and muscle building, but functional training to increase flexibility, balance and range of motion. If one maintains a well-tuned body, age becomes just a state of mind.

"My passion is in helping others improve their lifestyle behaviors. Making bodies move through muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular endurance is our philosophy."

Krista Blair

W.I.T.S. & FFL - Certified Personal Trainer & Wellness Coach
Lee University

I have always been an active person my whole life but my main passion is soccer. I was able to get a scholarship at Lee University,in Cleveland TN. I also enjoy various other activities such as: softball, basketball, water sports, and outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.

I knew after my first year in college, that I had a specific goal in life and that was to train, motivate, and help others become physically fit. I believe that nutrition is just as important as being physically active. You need to give your body the right fuel in order to get the best results. Having the motivation to go and workout comes from training your mind just like you train your body.

Now that I have become a trainer, I strive to give my clients the best workout; incorporating strengthening exercises, muscular endurance, balance, and flexibility, while educating clients about the importance of nutrition and making it a lifestyle.

Michael Browne

A.C.E. & FFL - Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach
B.S. Corporate Wellness, SAU

Michael is originally from Stone Mountain, GA, but now resides in Chattanooga, TN for the past 10 years. He has always been an active person and loves sports. Passion in basketball, soccer and football have driven him from an early childhood into adulthood. Proper execution in training makes the difference in exercise. Execute, execute, execute! With execution and a complete emphasis of training (resistance, flexiblity, cardio, agility, speed, strength and nutrition) anything can be attained by any person. Anyone can be an athlete, the difference to getting towards your goals is the heart of the person. Michael believes in training smart over training hard. If you train smart you will accomplish training hard.

"I look forward to training each client to there potential and beyond!" Let's do work!

Always stay hungry and blessed for GREATNESS ahead!
