Blair Meadows
Manager
Blair has been involved with fitness and wellness since 2003. Through her experience she has developed a passion for helping others and enjoys teaching them to live healthier, happier lives. She has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Fitness Leadership minor from North Carolina State University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC-Greensboro.
Blair currently holds certifications with the American Council on Exercise in Personal Training, Titleist Performance Institute as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, and the American Academy of Sports Dieticians and Nutritionists as a Nutrition Specialist. Her interests include nutrition for weight loss and special populations; working with people with thyroid complications, Type II diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol; and teaching everyone the importance of keeping an active lifestyle. She has recently gained experience and enjoyment in working with golfers to help them better not only their game but their overall fitness. Blair has an enthusiasm for learning and strives to educate and guide people down the right track towards health.
Valerie Graney
Personal Trainer
Valerie holds a certification as a personal trainer through the National Federation of Professional Trainers and has an Advanced Sports Nutrition Specialist Certification. Valerie has been a personal trainer for 13 years and has acquired additional certifications including: AIFE, Older Adult Fitness Instructor, Strong Group Exercise Instructor, CPR/AED and First Aid. Valerie has recently gotten her certification as a Life Coach. Her experience and specializations include, basic post rehab and joint integrity, golf and tennis conditioning, osteoporosis and exercise, menopause, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic fatigue syndrome. She has also worked with clients with Downs Syndrome and autism. Valerie has recently moved to North Carolina from New York with her husband and son. She is very happy to be here in Greensboro to share her passion for health and wellness. Her mantra is "improving your overall fitness is one way to improve yourself--the added bonus is, you just feel better."
Ashley Scott
Personal Trainer
Ashley graduated from Appalachian State University in 2011 with a degree in Health Promotion and a minor in Psychology. While at ASU, she was a member of the women's soccer team as a goalkeeper. Through her athletic experience, she has become very skilled in sport performance along with strength and conditioning. She currently holds a personal training certification with the American Council of Sports Medicine and has a National "E" Coaching License in soccer. Ashley enjoys playing sports and working out in her spare time. She is excited to share her passion for healthy lifestyle choices with others.
Ryann Hendricks
Personal Trainer
Ryann comes to us from Chicago, Illinois. She attended George Mason University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2009. In May of 2010, she obtained her personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise. Her move down to Greensboro was in order to complete her dream of becoming an Olympian in track and field—her expertise is the triple jump. She is excited about the new changes in her life and loves working out and being inside the gym. Her style of training is unique and fresh and she brings a lot of energy to FT.
Ethan Stang
Personal Trainer
Ethan currently is working on getting his Masters Degree from WSSU in Physical therapy. He graduated in 2008 from UNCG with an Exercise and Sports Science degree, concentrating in Sports Medicine. Ethan has been personal training since 2006 in a variety of different settings with a variety of different clients. He has a strong background in kinesiology and anatomy which helps him develop workout programs for elite athletes to very deconditioned clients. Ethan's mission is to spread the word about the importance of proper nutrition and fitness. In his spare time he enjoys working out, hiking, traveling, and playing with his dog, Drake.
