I wanted to thank you and your staff for helping me to achieve what I was not able to do on my own; to get this body of mine whipped back into shape. I have been training with Jen and Kyle for ten months and I am ecstatic and truly amazed with the results! I have more energy than most 20 year olds. Tim's lost 30 pounds and has increased his overall strength by 35% through consistent training and successfuly implementing the Nutrition Together Program into his lifestyle. He understands and believes in the idea that fitness and nutrition have to work together, and that a healthy lifestyle has to reflect a balance in both areas.
Tim is always telling us, "I love the accountability of FT, without my appointments three days a week, I wouldn't do it. If I am being honest with myself, I need that extra drive you guys provide during my workouts."

And the face of Spring 2012 is Mike Curran! For the past several months Mike has shown extreme dedication to his health and fitness. Overcoming certain fears and apprehensions, he has become an advocate for the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. So much so, he entrusts not only his health but the health of his entire family to the Fitness Professionals here at FT.
With great plans for continued success, Mike has registered and is training to run in the 2012 River Bank Run in Grand Rapids in May!

Three months into 2012, and FT Grand Haven client Shelley Brocci is still going strong, due to her self-determination, positive attitude, and dedication to the "plan." Shelley has and continues to make great progress every week, due to in her words,
"I signed up to follow the program; it wouldn't make much sense not to give it 100% and do everything that is expected."
Coming in nervous but ready, Shelley hit the ground running eager to positively impact her lifestyle in a healthy way. Her results obviously showing in her
4th place (36min) finish among her age group in the Grand Haven Walk and Fun Run 5k!

Craig, understanding the power of exercise, schedules three days a week to come and work with our Fitness Professionals Kyle and Emily. Although sometimes difficult, a Saturday morning mile run and workout at the studio is now a mainstay of Craig's weekend. He has seen incredible strength gains, and now his sights are set on increasing his cardiovascular endurance through several distance and timed running goals.

"Well, FT helped me take my game to the next level! By training with the outstanding trainers I have been able to put on 20+ pounds of muscle. I have also brought my cardiovascular endurance to the next level. Plain and Simple, if you want to go to Fitness Together and get results with professional supervision, Grand Haven is the place for you, or you can just go to a gym do a couple lifts here and there and just be average, your call! FT is great for results; however, the friendship i have built with all the trainers is definitely just as important!"

Afterward, he began to play for the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders in the USHL for two seasons.
For the last two seasons he has been with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs out of Alaska in the NAHL (right), where he played a huge role in helping the Ice Dogs claim the USA Hockey Junior A Tier II National Championship early this May (center).

Fitness Together Client and Active Professional
Fitness Together has changed my outlook on life. After feeling like losing weight and getting in shape was an unattainable goal, I called Fitness Together. It was my last ditch effort. I’ve been on every diet known to man, but never knew how to workout correctly. The personal trainers with whom I work at Fitness Together are very knowledgeable and they take the time to explain every exercise. To my surprise and delight, I lost a pant size after only 2 weeks and my double chin went away after 4 weeks. In only 5 weeks, I’ve lost 13 pounds! I love the new lease on life that Fitness Together has given me!

I had hit a significant plateau for six months after losing the initial 40 lbs on my own. Fitness Together broke that plateau and it really started coming off quickly! I am down 16 dress sizes.
