Client Success Story - John Branca Loses 30 lbs., Gets Stronger

Congratulations to FT client John Branca, who recently completed a program at Fitness Together and relocated to Kansas City for work.  Prior to FT, John did not exercise at all.  John has lost 30 lbs., lowered his body fat percentage to about 22%, reduced his blood pressure medication, and significantly increased his strength.  In the picture, John is deadlifting 315 lbs. for a set of 3 reps.  John is a high school chemistry teacher, and at age 60, his students would be hard pressed to keep up with him during his workouts.

John currently trains three times a week, completing both strength training and cardio training workouts. Here's John's story in his own words:

"Well I did not exercise at all before starting at FT.  Now, I exercise 3x a week, doing cardio for 30 minutes and strength training for 45.  The hardest obstacle was changing my diet.  In my first year of exercising, I worked hard but only lost 5 lbs.  Then, I knew the diet HAD to change.  I decreased the carb content and ate smaller meals more frequently."

"I feel great since working out at FT.  I would absolutely recommend them.  This was the best, most successful, life changing program in my 60 years."
