Matthew Gagliano M.Ed, CPT
Owner, RI Area Director
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Health from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI and a M.Ed from Boston University. Matthew is currently certified through the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) and is certified in CPR through the American Red Cross. With 8 years of experience in the fitness industry Matthew has learned to work with a variety of clients. Incorporating a philosophy that he puts into practice Matthew not only enjoys training athletes, but effectively works with clients that have limitations as well as special medical concerns. He successfully has helped those with diabetes/pre-diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia and senior issues (balance, osteoporosis, and general fatigue). He gets the most satisfaction seeing his clients progress and move beyond the self imposed barriers people put on themselves. He believes everyone has the potential to achieve not only what they want but what they deserve. Matt enjoys the outdoors and has hiked the Nepal Himalayas, cycled through India and Cambodia, hiked the width the Japan, surfed in Indonesia, and has trekked throughout New Zealand, Colorado Rockies, and the White Mts in New Hampshire.

Erskine McIntosh B.S., ACSM
Fitness Consultant
Erskine McIntosh came to us from URI where he was a strength and conditioning intern. Erskine holds a BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. His experience ranges from working with athletes to assisting a Physical Therapist with rehabilitation. He is currently certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Erskine is the evening manager and trainer at FT.

Donna Abenante ISSA, CPT
Fitness Consultant
Donna’s active lifestyle started as a child with dance and gymnastics. She eventually got started with weight lifting, down hill skiing, mountain bike racing, Judo Dojo, and finally ice hockey. In addition to being a fitness coach, Donna is a full time manager of an osteoporosis diagnostic center, medical researcher and lecturer. She has been a fitness coach with Fitness Together since March 2007. Donna is certified through ISSA and has all the energy to keep you motivated!

Allison Faria B.S.
Fitness Consultant
Allison came to us as an intern from the University of Rhode Island where she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health/Fitness. A true athlete, Allison grew up participating in basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, snowboarding, and ice hockey; which she has played for 14 years and still plays today. She has taken her passion for sports and fitness and has turned it into a rewarding career. She specializes in sports performance, strength trainng, and general fitness; she has worked with athletes and in cardiac rehabilitation. She is currently working towards her certification through ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine). Allison is also an assistant coach for the Barrington Girls Hockey Team.

Alysha Morris B.S.
Fitness Consultant
Alysha graduated from URI last year with a concentration in Health Fitness. We are pleased to have her as our newest member of the Fitness Together family.
Alysha grew up in Glocester, RI where she has always enjoyed the outdoors and being active. Some of her favorite sports are softball, volleyball, and tennis and she really enjoys football season.
Her draw to health and fitness came through her interest in the human body and its mechanics. She is a big proponent of health education and prevention of disease. Alysha enjoys helping people feel better and enjoys challenging her clients to reach their full potential
