Owner / Personal Trainer
I have been part of the health and fitness industry since 2003. The psychology and physiology behind making necessary lifestyle changes for my clients has been my focus in developing Fitness Together. I am in relentless pursuit to prove to our community that fitness can be fun, trainers aren't intimidating and that EVERYONE can benefit from the accountability Fitness Together has to offer those who want professional guidance without being on display at a public gym. Especially for those who say they are too busy! I have proven this with over 180 local residents so far and will continue to set an example for the rest of the health and fitness industry one client at a time.

B.S. Exercise Science
I've been involved with fitness and resistance training ever since I was an early teen. In fact, before I even had any weight to push around, I used to use magazine racks, bowling ball bags, and stairs to accomplish my fitness goals! I guess you could say I know which direction I was headed early in life! Another passion of mine has been sports, where I've competed in baseball, football, and wrestling in high school, and I continued to pursue baseball and football in college. I graduated cum laude from Minnesota State University-Mankato in May of 2006 with a B.S. degree in Exercise Science and Pre-Physical Therapy, and I have since been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a certified personal trainer. I've also completed to strength and conditioning internships at MSU-Mankato and Bethany Lutheran College. My passion continues to be fitness, and I continue to compete in Amateur baseball in the Twin Cities. I believe EVERYONE can begin a healthier lifestyle, no matter what the age (it;s just a number anyways!). The body IS designed to MOVE!! So the best thing you can do for yourself and your health is to treat yourself right. Start exercising, improve your diet, and live a lifestyle you deserve! Myself and the others at Fitness Together are ready to give you 100% are you ready??
B.S. Education, Minor in Coaching - M.S. Special Education
I grew up in a large family which molded me into the competitive person that I am today. I am no stranger to fitness, health and nutrition. I was a three sport athlete from the age of twelve and it continued through my college years. I was an all conference player in volleyball, basketball and fast pitch softball. It isn’t surprising that fitness was a big part of my life and it still continues to be today. After college I took a position at Bismarck State College as the head volleyball coach and assistant women’s basketball coach. My basketball team made two national tournament appearances back-to-back. While I was coaching I was also working at Healthways which is a local gym in the Bismarck area. There, I was certified as a Metabolic Specialist and eventually worked my way up to managing the gym. It didn’t take long before I was hooked on personal fitness and am very thankful that it has lead me to where I am today.

B.S. Exercise Science
My passion for fitness started at age 11. It began with gym class and spending the majority of my days as a youth running around outside. From there, it progressed from my first job paying for a weight set to playing football in high school and all four years of college. During college, I majored in exercise science and held two internships. The first was designing training programs and implementing them for athletes and the second was prescribing nutrition and fitness programs and performing one-on-one training for the faculty and staff from the college. I also became certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise during this time. Upon graduating from college I became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and spent 6 months as a trainer for Lifetime Fitness. After deciding that large commercial gyms weren’t the best environment for neither the trainer nor the client, I left and was privileged enough to join the Fitness Together family. As a trainer, I give 100% and ask that you do the same.
