I am writing this letter to all of you who figure that it is not necessary to have a personal trainer. To those of you who say, “I can certainly workout myself. I am disciplined enough and truthfully do not really want to spend the money.”

Before I came to Fitness Together I tried Zumba classes. I couldn’t get my feet off the ground, my balance was not so good and I was huffing and puffing. I finally said, “This will not do!”

Fitness Together has helped me be accountable to myself. I have an appointment each week that I will not cancel, regardless of my workload or any other obligation.

Fitness Together has helped me do my exercises correctly so that I get the most benefit and they are incredible motivators. I do not want to let my trainers down but more importantly they help me to not let myself down. I am thrilled I have been able to get off my high blood pressure meds completely!

I truly look forward to my PRIVATE personal training sessions. At 56 years old, I love how absolutely awesome this makes me feel! Fitness Together is one of the best decisions, best investments, I have ever made for myself and my well being.

In 1987 just before I retired from the Marine Corps I scored first class on the rigorous physical fitness test. I was 42 and in the best shape of my life. I was privileged to spend the next 24 years with McDonnell Douglas/ Boeing and Sabreliner. Unfortunately I did not maintain my disciplined fitness regimen and found myself at 63 unable to do one push up. My wife had been going to Fitness Together with fabulous results and convinced me I couldn’t achieve my goal to get back in shape without help. My experience at Fitness together has been amazing. Their comprehensive approach to health and fitness is based on sound principles and it works. The team of trainers are knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and fun. I average 3-4 days a week and I love going there. I set a goal to do my age in consecutive push ups--65. The balanced training plan and the encouraging, challenging environment allowed me to achieve that goal! I can’t thank the Fitness Together staff enough for their faith in me and for their highly professional and skilled coaching.

In February 2008 I broke my ankle while on vacation. While I was lying around waiting for my leg to mend I gained an extra 15 lbs.,which I certainly did not need as I was already 25 lbs. overweight. I decided to try Fitness Together because I have failed to achieve my desired results on my own. My diet was horrible, my workouts were inconsistent.

From the first day I met the Fitness Consultants at FT I knew I was in for something different. They are very supportive with my workout routines and very accommodating on my weekly meal plans.

For the first time I have the diet and exercise package and coaching I need to motivate me to success. I also like the one on one attention and private workout suits. The main thing I like about it, however, is the accountability I have to myself and my trainer and the fact that it is now an appointment in my daily calendar.

I have been at FT since January 6,2009 and in the first 4 weeks I dropped an incredible 17 pounds and had to buy new clothes from the inches I lost off of my waist. I hit my goal weight of 170 pounds in May and have kept it off, increasing my brench press by 35 lbs.

I started on my journey to health in August 2008. Before I joined FT in April of 2009, I had lost 60 pounds in 8 months. Though I felt better, I knew I had a lot more to accomplish, and I feared I would not be able to continue to progress without adding exercise to my regimen, and I really dislike exercise (or so I thought). Since joining FT I have lost a little over an additional 60 pounds and traded body fat for increased muscle mass and flexibility. I am actually training for a half marathon in September, and my friends are amazed! I have a standing appointment three days a week. And because I have this appointment pre-scheduled, I show up. I figure I still have at least another year until I reach my goal, but I know I would not be able to achieve this, without the staff at FT. They are very motivating and fun to work with.
