Bob Mittleman
Owner / Personal Trainer NASM, ISSA Endurance Fitness Trainer
Bob has had a passion for fitness his whole life. He is certified through NASM and is also a certified endurance fitness trainer through ISSA. Bob is constantly increasing his knowledge base through continuing education courses offered by nationally recognized fitness organizations. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Long Island Business News, Newsday, Southampton press and interviewed on WLIE radio. He was a featured guest on the television show "Live it Up". “At Fitness Together, we help our clients reach and achieve their fitness goals. That goes for the beginner who is committing to their first exercise program and for the individual who wants to take their level of fitness to new heights. As an avid runner, golfer and general fitness enthusiast, I know all about having goals and being able to accomplish them. There is no better feeling. I want to share that vision, belief and passion with all of our clients. I’m excited about this opportunity for all of our clients. In addition to our individualized personal training programs and sports specific training, we offer endurance training and programs for runners and tri-athletes of all levels. If you are looking to run your personal best or compete in your first road race or triathlon, Fitness Together will have a program for you.” Bob is an award winning 9 time marathon runner, with a personal best of 3:07 at the Chicago Marathon, and is a top competitor on the local running circuit.

Angela Florio
Personal Trainer/ ACE, ECITS, Reebok Cycle/Spin Instructor
Angela is a fitness enthusiast. She is a New York licensed cosmetologist whose true passion lies with fitness and all the benefits it can bring into people's lives. Angela currently holds personal training certifications with ECITS, YMCA and ACE. She also is a certified cycle/spin instructor with Reebok. She has studied and practiced freestyle kickboxing for many years and loves to incorporate punches and kicking into her training sessions. She is an avid runner who has completed several half marathons as well as several triathlons. She enjoys riding her bike whether it is mountain biking or road races. Angela loves the atmosphere at Fitness Together. Especially, the small studio setting in which she can give special attention to each client to help them obtain their goals. She strives to achieve fun, challenging and enjoyable workouts.

Thomas Nenos
Personal Trainer / NASM, BS Movement Education Cortland University
Thomas Nenos is certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has been personal training since 2005.
To supplement his personal training certification Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Movement Education from Cortland University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.90 GPA. While attending Cortland Thomas made several notable contributions to the exercise science department on the topics of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF Stretching), Fitness Assessment for Individuals with Disabilities, Designing Fitness Assessments with the Purpose of Enhancing Self-Efficacy, Current Technologies Impacting Fitness Development, Violence in Sports (Boxing) and The Developmental Readiness for Resistance Training in the Youth Population. Thomas also holds a valid NYS Coaching Certification, NYS Teacher Certification and Educational Karate Program (EKP) Certification. Thomas is currently working on his certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and hopes to one day complete his master’s degree in an Exercise Science related field.
Thomas’ hobbies include boxing, racquetball, basketball, resistance training, flexibility training, cardio respiratory training, graphics/web design, reading, biking and hiking in the Adirondacks (5 Adirondack high peaks completed, 41 to go!).
Thomas’ sessions integrate multiple forms of training, are based on current scientific research and are individually tailored to progressively meet the goals of his clients. Forms of training include flexibility training, cardio respiratory training, core training, balance training, reactive training, resistance training, speed-agility-quickness training, and skill/sport specific training.

Robert Zimbalist
Robert Zimbalist Jr. is certified as a Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and through College of Registered Fitness Instructors and Teachers (CORFIT) since 2008.
He graduated from Stony Brook University in 2008 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Performance Nutrition. While attending Stony Brook he played for the Stony Brook Seawolves and played the positions Winger and Defenseman for the team. Outside of Fitness Together, Robert is an Ice Hockey and Swim Instructor that helps improve adults and children lives in those areas of work.
Some of Robert's hobbies include strength training, playing ice hockey in men's hockey league, and enjoying the outdoor by running in local parks.
Robert is excellent incorporating into his sessions strength and definition training, core training, stabilization training, speed and agility training as well as sports related training.
