Tone Your Love Handles

Toned obliques, or love handles, are ranked highly alongside abdominal muscles as a fitness goal most people would like to achieve. Effective exercises packed with efficient movement are the key to sculpting the obliques you want. Check out the following oblique workouts. 

The Wedge. Lie on your side with your head and shoulder elevated, supporting yourself with one elbow, then raise your torso off the ground. Hold this position for 45 seconds, then switch to the other side and repeat.

Dumbbell Dips. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart with a dumbbell in each hand. Keeping your back straight and looking straight ahead, slowly lean to one side, return to the starting position and lean to the other side. Lean as far as you can. It’s important to keep your movement controlled so the total focus is in your obliques. 3 sets of twelve repetitions will do the trick.
