I cannot begin to count the ways the trainers at Fitness Together have helped me.  When I first came in I was of course looking to lose weight as everyone is but in the process I have gained so much more.  My initial fitness test was quite poor but I realized I could only get better.  I ran a 12 minute mile if you can even call it running.  It was more like a slow jog.  Now I am running a 9:15 minute mile for 4 miles and training for my first half marathon.  WOW!  Not only have I lost weight I have lost body fat, developed muscles I never knew I had and now have a self-esteem that I haven’t seen in a long time.  The workouts are individualized and never the same.  The trainers are very knowledgeable about the types of exercises they have you do and know very quickly how to push you and keep you safe.  There is always variety in the training  sessions and I have never been bored with the workouts.  The time I’m with the trainer is my time.  I am not competing with a gym full of people for the same equipment.  The trainers at Fitness Together, I feel, genuinely care about me and want to help me succeed and reach my goals.  I am pushed both mentally and physically more than I could ever push myself while at the same time providing support and encouragement.  The trainers are also a great resource regarding nutrition.  They have great ideas for meals, what types of foods to eat, and help you develop a plan that works for you.  I truly enjoy my time at Fitness Together and look forward to working out and seeing the progress I have made over time.  My next goal:  finish the INCLINE in Manitou Springs!

I had hit a significant plateau for six months after losing the initial 40 lbs on my own. At Fitness Togther I broke that plateau and it really started coming off quickly! I am down 16 dress sizes. I like the intimacy and privacy provided by FT. I don’t feel like I have to “compete” with anyone but myself.

2.    What do you like best about one-on-one personal training?

My trainer knows me very well. She cares – she pushes me – she challenges me – at my level, and I feel great after each session

3.    What are some of the advantages of training in a private room as opposed to a large gym setting?

FT is quiet, private and even a bit exclusive. You get the feeling your in your own gym.

4.    How does your personal trainer help to keep you motivated?

She provides something new every week. She knows my weaknesses and strengths and train as accordingly.

5.    Whether you’re here for strength, weight loss, or overall health and fitness, what keeps you on track with your goals?

Her encouragement and reliability keeps me on track. I always know she is there for me.

We drove by FT gym often. We wanted private sessions and were impressed when we stopped in.

The privacy is important to me, as well as the personal connection with the trainer. I enjoy the intelligent conversation too.

3. What are some of the advantages of training in a private room as opposed to a large gym setting?

This client is able to concentrate on training without the distractions of a large gym setting. The relationship w/ trainer relieves self-consciousness.

Abdrea us cheerful, but no-nonsence and always encouraging. She  continues to educate me regarding fitness. I am a loyal fan.

1.     There are a lot of gyms in Denver that offer personal training. Why did you choose Fitness Together over other gyms?
 
      It was recommended to me by a good friend over 10 years ago.  I have stuck with it ever since.  Seriously, I could never train with anyone else.
 
2.     What do you like best about one-on-one personal training?

 
      I like that my trainer knows my likes and dislikes, strengths and weakness and any injuries that I need to look out for.  He also knows all about me and I know all about him so we have a lot to talk about, which makes my workout fly by!
 
3.     What are some of the advantages of training in a private room as opposed to a large gym setting?
 
      There is no waiting around for machines/weights and no posing-except by my trainer. Some exercises are just not pretty, so it is nice to not have to share those with strangers.
 
4.     How does your personal trainer help to keep you motivated?
 
      He always keeps my workouts different, which is something I have struggled to do on my own.  He is constantly encouraging me to do my best and is always asking about my goals, both in the gym and with other sports that I do.  He tries to incorporate everything together.
 
5.     Whether you’re here for strength, weight loss, or overall health and fitness, what keeps you on track with your goals?
 
      Knowing that my trainer is going to follow up with me.  I don't always achieve my goals, but I definitely surprise myself sometimes.  He is the best cheerleader in all aspects of my life.  I don't like letting him down.

1. There are a lot of gyms in Denver that offer personal training. Why did you choose Fitness Together over other gyms?

I chose Fitness Together over other gyms because of the trainers.  To remain motivated and interested I think it is important to have a trainer that is skilled in reading the client – me.  My trainer is able to push me past where I would push myself and inspire me to work at a level I might not think possible.  He encourages me and helps me achieves fitness goals we set together.

2.    What do you like best about one-on-one personal training?

The best part of one-on-one training is the relationship you develop. My trainer has trained me during and post pregnancies.  He has inspired me to set and achieve fitness goals.

3.    What are some of the advantages of training in a private room as opposed to a large gym setting?

I think having a private room allows me to get a more efficient work out in less time.  I never have to wait for a piece of equipment and therefore, my trainer is able to incorporate cardio along with the strength conditioning because we can move from exercise to exercise quickly.

4.    How does your personal trainer help to keep you motivated?

My trainer is in tune with what is going on in my life as well as my physical strength and stamina and is able to encourage me to work at the highest level possible without pushing my too far that I feel discouraged.  I am usually so pumped with what I accomplished that I look forward to my next workout.

5.    Whether you’re here for strength, weight loss, or overall health and fitness, what keeps you on track with your goals?

My relationship with my trainer keeps me on track with my goals.  He genuinely enjoys what he does and that positive attitude makes it fun to come and work out with him.  He seems as proud of me as I am with my self.
