What we've discovered in our 20+ year history is that people still want high quality food made by traditional means. At Marvelous Market, we like our items to be made the old-fashioned way. We like craftsmen who mix and shape bread by hand, and prefer natural leavening and stone milled grains. We love the crust created by the heat of a hearthstone oven. We demand the same care and patience be used making our rustic pastries and desserts and in all our food. Our kitchen produces soups, salads, entrees and sandwiches using the best ingredients that we can find.
To compliment these made-from-scratch offerings, we have brought together a selection of our favorite farmhouse cheeses, cured olives, extra virgin olive oils and old fashioned preserves. We've tried to take a giant step backward before taking our first step forward. We try to let the past be our guide. Virtually everything we sell is made fresh from scratch. Simple foods packed with flavor. Not too many moving parts. We don't try to be something we aren't. No frills or fuss. Just fresh food for the taking.
