Nicolas grew up in Summertown, TN. As a child, he participated in youth league baseball. While in high school, he was made fun of for being the skinny kid. “I was 5 ft 10 in. tall weighing 119lb. I really wanted to gain weight and get in shape. I had no idea what I was doing and decided to learn". At 17, Nicolas developed what he refers to as “an obsession”. “There’s definitely a right and wrong way to get into shape. I went from not knowing what I was doing to taking things way too far. I would work out 2x a day, 6 days a week, fixating on everything I ate to the extreme. All of this led to suffering 2 hernias and a severe back injury. The frustration of recovery led me to reinventing what I was doing and becoming a personal trainer. Today, I’m very passionate about helping others develop safe roads to health and wellness.” Nicolas’s best advice, “Don’t rush the process, too hard too quick can lead to injury and burnout. It’s important to work at a sustainable pace.”
