Mike Morris
Co-Owner, NASM-CPT, CES
Mike Morris has enjoyed being part of the Fitness Together family for over 5 years. During this time he has learned to appreciate his clients frustrations that bring them in to work with him and his team. Through working with over 400 clients he has learned what works and what doesn't, sorting through the gimmicks and fads that plague the wellness market. He has developed a unique skillset around helping clients of all abilities move more efficiently with less dysfunction which means better performance or less pain. His abilities have grabbed the attention of some of the best chiropractors and massage therapists in the area who refer to Mike because of his abilities. His science-based approach to nutrition has also helped hundreds of clients change the way they look and feel about themselves and eating.
In 2002 Mike was forced to take a step back from playing competitive rugby and redefine his goals when a knee surgery kept him on crutches for three months and away from competing for eight months. He spent countless hours on rehabilitation, motivated to be mentally and physically stronger than before. This experience helped Mike affirm that everyone needs to understand his or her source of motivation when undertaking the challenge of a workout regimen, no matter who you are or what your background is.
Mike is a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. This unique combination allows Mike to understand the body’s complex skeletal and muscular systems, making it easy to communicate and teach the specific exercises necessary to meet his clients’ goals.
When not working at either of his two Fitness Together studios, Mike trains to be a competitive adventure racer, runner, kayaker, and expert-class mountain bike racer, thriving on the demanding challenges of these sports. He has completed 35+ mile mountain marathons, raced his way across Costa Rica for 5 days straight, and has been to the national championships for Adventure Racing. Mike knows first-hand how rewarding it can be to reach a goal and he strives to create an equally rewarding training experience for his clients based on what their needs and capabilities are. Mike recently married his wife Shonda (also part of the FT team!) and they are expecting their first child in October of 2010!

Ross Hadfield
Co-Owner, NASM-CPT
In 2005 Ross and Mike teamed up to open their two Fitness Together studios with the idea that Ross would focus on the business side of operations while Mike would concentrate on the fitness side. After watching Mike and the Fitness Together team help so many clients achieve many different goals, Ross decided to get more directly involved in making a difference in the lives of their clients.
Ross earned his NASM CPT certification in the spring of 2009 and has enjoyed training and improving people's lives ever since. His hands-on approach has not only brought him closer to the FT clients, but also allowed him to share his lifetime athletic skills and his personal commitment to fitness and health.
Growing up in the Boston area, Ross played lacrosse and football, then went on to play rugby and row crew in college. He regularly enjoys and participates in adventure racing, kayaking, running, biking, and tennis. His own athletic background plus four years in the Fitness Together family have allowed Ross to make a seamless transition from the office to the studio.

Aly Kane
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Aly's love for sports and exercise started at the age of six, when she began playing recreational soccer in the town she grew up in, Sharon, MA. During high school she also participated in basketball and track. Aly continued playing soccer all through college, attending Wentworth Institute of Technology, and received her BS in Business Management. While attending Wentworth, she realized her real passion in life was fitness, and helping others learn about exercise to make their own lives healthier. Shortly after graduating, she became a certified personal trainer through the American Counsel On Exercise.
She began training at a large fitness center on the north shore. And while gaining valuable training experience, it wasn't a setting that focused on personal training. This led her to Fitness Together, where she is able to work in a one-on-one environment and better help clients reach their own individual goals. Aly enjoys working with all types of people from someone who has never step foot in a gym, to those looking to kick their workouts up to a new level.
Aly is a firm believer that whatever your goals are, as long as you are willing to put in the time and hard work, they are achievable. She still plays soccer occasionally in pickup leagues in the Boston area. Aly also enjoys running road races, ranging from 5k's to half marathons to stay in shape. She likes to try new types of exercises and always brings new ideas and energy to help make your workouts as fun as possible!

Luke Alexander
NPTI Certified Personal Trainer
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
-Aristotle
There is no magic pill or button that makes everything in life work like it’s suppose to. It takes dedication to hard work everyday. This applies to work life and personal life, as well as exercising and eating right.
Luke grew up in a small town where being outside all day playing sports, skateboarding, 4-wheeling, and being active was the norm. After graduating high school, Luke enlisted in the US Army serving as an Infantryman. Upon completing the US Army Airborne School, he was stationed at Ft. Myer in Arlington, VA, attached to the 3rd US Infantry regiment. It was through the Army that Luke developed his passion for structured exercise and the desire to help others live a better life by appreciating the same.
Outside of FT, Luke enjoys working out, 4-wheeling, playing outside, running and hanging out watching sports with friends and family.
