The Other Healthy Cooking Oil
Did you know that the molecular structure of cooking oil changes with heat? New research has found that many "healthy" oils are not so healthy when used at high heats (above 300 or 350 degrees). The good news is that research supports the use of Coconut Oil for cooking because it is stable at high heats and has been found to have powerful antiviral and antibiotic affects within our bodies.
Lots of great recipes using coconut oil can be found on the internet, or try it in some of your favorites. If you don't like the flavor, look for "high heat" oils at your grocery store. They are safer to cook with but don't offer some of the health benefits of coconut oil. For more information on the numerous health benefits of coconut oil, click here.
