CHRIS VIGGIANO

Personal Trainer

Chris has been an avid martial artist, studying the art of Shaolin Kempo Karate for the past 8 years and is working towards earning his second degree black belt. After being a martial arts and kickboxing instructor for the last 6 years, his love of the art has brought him down the path of fitness, earning a personal trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Chris believes in making the whole body stronger as opposed to making parts of the body strong. Being from Long Island originally, breast cancer is an issue that Chris takes very seriously, which led him to become a Post Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist. After successfully training and speaking for the past year, Chris has now become one of three people in the country to be a Post Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Instructor Trainer. Whether your goals are simple weight loss, complex rehabilitation (knee, elbow, shoulder, back, neck) or exciting sport specific (boxing, kickboxing, mma, golf, baseball, football, basketball), Chris will walk the journey with you, every step of the way. “Don’t give up. Don’t ever give up!” is a motto that Chris lives by and carries that with him.

CHRIS MASKI

Personal Trainer

Chris has been involved with athletics and sports for most of his life. He started off with baseball, soccer, and basketball and moved on to lacrosse and wrestling at the ages of twelve and thirteen. During middle-school, he picked up skiing and snowboarding. Lacrosse, wrestling and snowboarding remained staples throughout high school and into the college years where rugby, rock climbing and martial arts were also taken up. Regardless of which sport he was involved with (traditional or not), he always strove to better his performance with “off the field” activities such as resistance training and conditioning. This drive would lead to countless hours of research on the topics of athletic performance, injury prevention and rehabilitation. After receiving a Bachelor's degree from Green Mountain College, his research would culminate with a certification from the National Strength and Conditioning association (NSCA) as a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer). Chris specializes in one-on-one and small group training. The training style he utilizes is geared towards the combat athlete but can be modified to suit any client, using the universal variable of intensity.

Over the years, he has held both managerial and personal trainer positions, while working with a very wide variety of clients. They range from: active military, ex-military, youth, elderly, pre/post surgery (cardiac and sports medicine), post pregnancy, athletes (varying from hockey players to long distance runners), mentally and physically disabled, clinically obese and the general weekend warrior population searching for the best-bang-for-your-buck workouts. Even with such a diverse pool of clientèle, there is one theme that runs throughout – those who truly wish to succeed keep coming back!

Chris grew up in central New Jersey, lived in Vermont for seven years and currently calls Northern Virginia his home.
